What file formats are supported?
XLSX, XLS (Excel), and CSV files are all supported. Each file becomes a separate sheet.
Will my formatting (colors, fonts, borders) be preserved?
No. This tool extracts only the raw data from each file. Formatting like cell colors, font styles, merged cells, and formulas are not preserved. For presentation‑ready documents, use Excel itself.
What about formulas?
Formulas are evaluated to their current values. The formula itself is not kept – only the calculated result.
Can I rename the output file?
Yes! Use the "Output filename" field above to choose any name. The .xlsx extension is added automatically.
Can I add the same file multiple times?
Absolutely! Duplicate files are allowed. They will appear as separate sheets in the merged workbook, with sheet names like "filename", "filename_1", "filename_2", etc.
How do I clear all selected files?
Click the "Clear All" button next to the file list to remove all files at once.
