❓ Frequently Asked Questions

How does PDF to JPG conversion work?

Each page of your PDF is rendered as an image using PDF.js (Mozilla's PDF rendering engine). You can select specific pages, adjust quality, and scale the output images – all locally in your browser.

Can I select specific pages?

Yes! After loading your PDF, you'll see thumbnails of all pages. Click to select/deselect individual pages, or use the Select All/Deselect All buttons. Only selected pages will be converted.

Can I rename files before downloading?

Yes! Click on any filename in the download list to edit it. You can give each image a custom name before saving. The change happens instantly – just click Save when you're ready.

What do Quality and Scale mean?

• **Quality** – JPG compression level. Higher quality = larger file size, better image. • **Scale** – Multiplies the image dimensions. 1x is original size, 2x creates an image twice as large (higher resolution). Useful for getting larger images from PDFs.

Is there a page or file size limit?

We recommend PDFs up to 100 pages and 100MB for good performance. Very large files may process slowly depending on your device. You can always convert in batches.

Are my PDFs safe?

100% private – all processing happens in your browser using PDF.js. Your file never leaves your device. No uploads, no servers, no data collection.
